Behavioral Wellness for Women collaborates with therapists, OB-GYNs, pelvic floor physical therapists, and other women's health providers to support patients during pregnancy and postpartum. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in women's mental health, I bring a focused clinical lens to every collaboration.

COLLABORATE + CONNECT

Who I Work With

Symptoms that persist despite consistent therapy, or feel disproportionate to situational stressors

A noticeable increase in anxiety after returning to work, sleep disruption, or shifts in routine

Intrusive thoughts that feel distressing, repetitive, and difficult to disengage from, even with insight

Anxiety that has intensified postpartum despite doing “all the right things” in therapy

These are often patients who are engaged in therapy, insightful, and motivated but continue to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unlike themselves.

My Role

My role is to evaluate and treat the underlying physiological and psychiatric contributors to these patterns, working alongside your team to support the whole patient.

I communicate clearly and responsively, and keep collaborating providers informed when relevant. When we're aligned in how we're supporting a patient, outcomes are stronger and the care experience feels more cohesive.

When This Might Be A Good Time To Refer

A postpartum patient says, “I don’t feel like myself,” but can’t fully explain why

Anxiety or panic has resurfaced after a period of stability

Progress in therapy has plateaued despite consistent engagement

A patient who seems fine on the surface but is reporting increasing internal distress

Something feels "off" but situational factors don't fully explain it
