Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?
I am currently in-network with Aetna for Pennsylvania residents only. If you have Aetna and live in Pennsylvania, your care may be covered depending on your specific plan and benefits.

For all other patients, I am considered an out-of-network provider. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement through your insurance. Superbills can be provided upon request so you can submit for reimbursement directly to your insurance company.

Many of my clients choose to work with me out-of-network because they value the extended time, personalized approach, and integrative support that goes beyond what most in-network providers are able to offer.
What are your rates?
90-Minute Signature Mental Wellness Evaluation: $495
50-Minute Follow-Up: $275
30-Minute Follow-Up: $195
ADHD Support Package (subscription): $250/month
How are you different from an in-network provider?
Most in-network providers are required to see a high volume of patients, often resulting in rushed appointments and one-size-fits-all care. At Behavioral Wellness for Women, I intentionally limit my caseload so I can offer personalized, high-touch support to every client I work with.

That means longer appointments, deeper conversations, and treatment plans that go beyond just medication—including lifestyle support, supplements, nervous system tools, and coordination with other providers. You’ll never feel like a number or have to chase down answers between visits.

This kind of care leads to better outcomes—like faster symptom relief, fewer side effects, and a deeper sense of clarity and stability in your daily life. My goal isn’t just to help you function—it’s to help you feel whole again.
Do you prescribe benzos?
Yes, I do prescribe benzodiazepines judiciously and only when clinically appropriate—typically for short-term use or specific situations. If we decide to use a benzo as part of your treatment plan, it will be with a clear strategy in place to taper off, as long-term use is not considered best practice and can lead to risks like dependence or reduced effectiveness over time.

I do not see patients who are seeking benzodiazepines as their primary or sole treatment. My focus is on comprehensive, sustainable care that addresses the root of your symptoms using a combination of medication, integrative strategies, and lifestyle support.
How often will I need to see my provider?
In the beginning, you may need to meet more frequently, especially during medication adjustments or to monitor potential side effects. Once we establish that you’re feeling more stable, follow-up appointments will be required no less than every three months.
What if I’m afraid to take medication?
It’s completely normal to have concerns about medication. My approach prioritizes open communication. I take the time to listen to your worries and ensure we thoroughly discuss the risks, benefits, and potential side effects. We always start with the lowest effective dose, and we’re never bound to any decisions. Adjustments can be made as needed to ensure you feel comfortable and supported throughout the process.
Do you offer in person or virtual appointments?
At Behavioral Wellness for Women, we are pleased to offer an exclusively virtual experience, allowing you to prioritize your mental wellness from the comfort and privacy of your own space. By transitioning fully to telehealth, we're able to provide the same high-level, personalized care—without the stress of commuting, parking, or disrupting your day.

Our secure, high-quality video sessions ensure that your experience remains discreet and deeply supportive, wherever life takes you.
Do you prescribe stimulant medications or treat ADHD?
Yes, I do evaluate and treat ADHD, including prescribing stimulant medications when clinically appropriate. However, not everyone who struggles with focus or motivation has ADHD. During our evaluation, we’ll take the time to explore your full story—including your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and any underlying or co-occurring conditions that could be contributing to your challenges.

Sometimes anxiety, depression, trauma, or burnout can mimic or complicate ADHD symptoms. In these cases, I often prioritize treating those conditions first to ensure the most accurate diagnosis and effective care plan. Stimulants may not be used as the first-line treatment if we identify other contributing factors that need to be addressed first.

For patients who are prescribed stimulants, I offer an optional ADHD Support Package for $250/month. This includes one 30-minute follow-up appointment per month and assistance locating pharmacies that have your prescribed medication in stock (up to 5 pharmacy contacts per month). Follow-up is required at least once every 3 months to remain in compliance with best practices.

My goal is to make ADHD treatment more consistent and less stressful—so you can stay focused without having to manage the logistics alone.
Is it safe to take medication while pregnant or breastfeeding?
This is one of the most common—and important—questions I’m asked. The truth is, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Whether or not to take medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding is a highly individualized decision that depends on many factors: your symptoms, medical history, risk of relapse, and the specific medication being considered.

At Behavioral Wellness for Women, I specialize in perinatal mental health and take great care to help you weigh the risks and benefits from all angles. I stay up to date on the latest research and collaborate with OB/GYNs and other specialists as needed. If medication is recommended, we’ll use the lowest effective dose and incorporate non-medication supports as well—so your treatment plan supports both your well-being and your baby’s.
What is integrative psychiatry?
Integrative psychiatry blends traditional psychiatric care—like medication management and talk therapy—with holistic, lifestyle-based approaches that support healing on all levels. This might include supplement protocols, nutrition and sleep support, nervous system regulation tools, lab testing, or referrals to trusted providers like therapists or pelvic floor specialists.

Rather than just treating symptoms, I work with you to understand why you’re feeling the way you are—and then build a treatment plan that addresses root causes while honoring your preferences, values, and goals. My approach is thoughtful, evidence-informed, and always centered on you as a whole person.
Do you see women who aren’t mothers?
Yes! While I specialize in perinatal mental health — including pregnancy, postpartum, and fertility — I also work with women across the lifespan. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, OCD, or life transitions in college, early career, or relationships, you're welcome here. You don’t have to be a mom to benefit from personalized psychiatric care.
